What is The Ivy House? The Ivy House is the best dorm for female UF students. It’s a newly built, luxury dorm with guaranteed placement into the room style that you request. Dorm suites at the Ivy House are much larger than traditional UF dorm room—plus, students who choose Ivy enjoy upscale bathrooms, daily maid service, a gourmet kitchen and café with granite countertops, quiet study spaces, and a large living room where they can relax with other residents.

Is it like a traditional dorm? The Ivy House offers all of the best features of traditional dorm housing (located steps from UF classes, in a social atmosphere where you can meet other UF students). But The Ivy House also offers many unique luxury amenities and service features that you won’t find in a traditional UF dorm like Broward, Beatty, Hume or Lakeside. For example: residents at Ivy are guaranteed to be placed into the size room that they sign up for on their housing agreements, and all students who apply and are accepted are guaranteed placement into the dorm. There’s covered, assigned parking available. There are NO temporary triples (definition: temporary triples are double dorm rooms found in the traditional UF dorm buildings, where three students are squeezed). At The Ivy house, there’s expert roommate matching based on each student’s specific personality profile, study habits, cleanliness, sleep habits, and social activities. Or students can request to live with friends, and the Ivy House will guarantee that they will be placed together. The rooms are larger than the traditional UF dorms, and yet, less expensive.
