Double Rooms in the luxury residence halls are ideal for students who want to have a roommate and a more social environment-- but want more space. Double rooms are significantly larger than UF’s double dorm rooms. The smallest size Double rooms at the Ivy House are approximately 157 sq ft; the larger doubles (Premier Doubles) are up to 276 square feet, up to 32% larger than on-campus double rooms.
At the Ivy House, each Double room comes equipped with 2 closets, a pedestal sink, 2 bed sets, 2 desk sets, windows, mini-blinds, and a pre-installed ceiling fans. All rooms include central a/c and plush carpeting. Bathrooms are located on the hall, shared with rooms next door. Bathrooms come equipped with jetted Jacuzzi tubs, showers, and large vanities.Bathrooms are cleaned daily by a maid service. The Ivy House is female-only.

Important roommate information: remember that residents at the Ivy House luxury residence hall can
choose between living with a requested friend, or using an professional roommate matching system. This is
a large advantage over the traditional UF residence halls (which offer random roommate assignment based

Important Note
Luxury residence halls offer guaranteed placement into Double Suites with signed housing agreement-- but you must sign up before all of the rooms fill. Double Suites fill very early for Fall move-in. Reservations should be made by mid-February.

Reservation Process
- Rooms are filling quickly for Summer B 2013 and Fall 2013 move-in.
- Most students choose to reserve via email. This is a very easy process which can secure a room for Fall or Summer B. To reserve via email, click here and enter your information. Reservation paperwork will be emailed to you with instructions (remember: your room is not reserved until we receive the completed paperwork. Several room styles are already full, and the remaining rooms are filling quickly).
- Not sure that The Ivy House is right for you? Tour and compare both the Ivy House and the traditional UF residence halls. Once you see the difference in person, you’re sure to choose the Ivy House. Click here to schedule a tour in person. Tours are available Monday – Saturday, by appointment. You can reserve your room after your tour.
