Luxury Double Suites are the ideal housing style for incoming freshmen who want a social environment and the nicest room possible, at the best rate. Two roommates share a room, and several room sizes are available. Students can choose between private attached bathrooms and kitchenettes inside their rooms (at Windsor Hall) or shared luxury bathrooms (at Ivy House).

Double Suites are significantly larger, newer, have luxury amenities (such as improved furniture packages, private pool access, assigned parking, bigger floorplans, plush carpeting and new construction) and are often less expensive than the traditional double rooms (where students share a bathroom with up to 45 people).

Important Note
Luxury residence halls offer guaranteed placement into Double Suites with signed housing agreement-- but you must sign up before all of the rooms fill. Double Suites fill very early for Fall move-in. Reservations should be made by mid-February.

- Check availability for the Doubles at the residence hall of your choice
- If you are visiting UF and Gainesville within the next few days, schedule a tour OR -- if you are not visiting soon, Reserve Housing via Mail.

Reservation Process
- Rooms are filling quickly for Summer B 2013 and Fall 2013 move-in.
- Most students choose to reserve via email. This is a very easy process which can secure a room for Fall or Summer B. To reserve via email, click here and enter your information. Reservation paperwork will be emailed to you with instructions (remember: your room is not reserved until we receive the completed paperwork. Several room styles are already full, and the remaining rooms are filling quickly).
- Not sure if the luxury residence halls are right for you? Tour and compare both Windsor Hall, Ivy House and the traditional UF residence halls. Once you see the difference in person, you’re sure to choose the Ivy House. Click here to schedule a tour in person. Tours are available Monday – Saturday, by appointment. You can reserve your room after your tour.

- Co-Ed? Ivy House: female-only residence hall Windsor Hall: 2 buildings. One is female-only; the other is co-ed by room.
- Located walking distance to UF classes? Yes.
- Located walking distance to UF dining halls? Yes.
- Night manager service on site? Yes. Will perform lock outs, answer noise complaints. 24 hour emergency also available.
- Bathrooms: students should consider if they would like to share a bathroom or have their own private bathroom. Bathroom style chosen on housing agreement is guaranteed. Students who would prefer their own private bathroom should choose a private bath single at Windsor Hall.
