Check out the video located above, featuring the Luxury Residence Halls for a complete overview of the luxury housing options and to see why so many students choose Windsor Hall and Ivy House over traditional UF halls like Beaty Hall, Broward Hall, Lakeside and Hume. Incoming University of Florida students can watch the residence hall video tour and see the inside of the buildings, the private bathrooms, the different room layouts options and get a feel for what it would be like to live in a luxury residence halls. Surprisingly, the suites in the luxury rooms are less expensive than the traditional rooms, even though they are bigger in size and offer better amenities.
The video focuses on two residence halls: Windsor Hall and Ivy House. There are also clips from UF students talking about Windsor Hall and Ivy House, and which they like best. Which luxury residence hall is right for you? Female students who are planning on joining a sorority should consider Ivy House; it’s the closest residence hall to Sorority Row on the University of Florida campus. Students who want a room with a private bathroom should consider Windsor Hall, where each room is a suite with an attached bathroom and kitchenette. Still not sure what’s right for you? Call the office or schedule a tour to see the different floorplans in person during your UF Preview session!
If you are coming to UF soon, you can schedule a tour and reserve a room in person.
Most incoming freshmen who tour all options choose a Windsor Hall Double Room.
